Author Visit with Sergio Ruzzier

On March 1st, Mrs.Handy brought in a very special guest! She brought an author, his name is Sergio Ruzzier! Sergio Ruzzier is an author that wrote and illustrated books like “Bear and Bee”. He told us about himself, like where he was born (Milan, Italy) what kind of hobby he had and more. Everyone was having a fun time listening to him read the book “Bear and Bee”. Even though it’s a children’s book upper graders still find it very entertaining! We must all thank Mrs. Handy for inviting Mr. Sergio Ruzzier!
Mrs. Handy said: ”My favorite part was when he read his book and explained how he created the book. It was both insightful and inspiring. He’s a wonderful storyteller and the message in his book was relevant today.” Thank you Mrs. Handy for everything you did! Hieu Nguyen in Mrs.Hwang-Mendez’s class said: “ I like how he explained the ways of making the book.” Hien Nguyen also in Mrs. Hwang-Mendez’s class said: “ I enjoyed the storytelling and him explaining how he illustrates his books.”
