A Farewell from Principal Jose Jacinto

I am writing with news to share with you – the families and community of Franklin School – that as of June 30, 2019, I will be leaving my position as Principal and beginning in a new position as Principal of G.W. Hellyer Elementary School. It is with a combination of sadness and excitement that I am informing the school community of my transition to a new professional capacity in the following school year. I want to thank each and every one of you for all your support, and for entrusting me with your children for the past 8 years. I am honored and feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be part of the Franklin School community. I have so many wonderful memories of my time at Franklin and I am sad to say goodbye. During my time here, I have fostered relationships with many of you and I will cherish the memories and friendships I’ve made during my time. Franklin has been a very special place for me and I will miss everyone.

Principal's End of the Year Letter

It's hard to believe this school year has come to an end. Your children worked so hard and came so far since August. Please know how very proud we are of each and every student!

Our Mission

The Franklin-McKinley School District will ensure all 8th grade student graduates have the skills and knowledge to be ready for a college preparatory curriculum in high school. They all will have the ability to pursue a program preparing them for university and/or careers and lifelong learning.
