Gingerbread News Flash

Written by:  3rd grader Santiago Alvarado from Ms. Shinagawa’s class

On December 16, 2016, gingerbread houses came falling down.  For the first time, third graders didn’t use milk cartons, but the other grades did.  Third grade had a hard time making the decorative candy houses.  We still had fun being creative. The teachers that participated were Mrs. Giardina, Mrs. Hsu and Ms. Shinagawa (all from C.A.T.S.).  We also invited Mrs. Billops and Ms. Benson to join us in the cafeteria.  Here are the 3rd grade winners:  William Sanchez, Kimberly Quiroz, John Nguyen and Emily Uy.  In addition, Mrs. Hsu’s winners were Shalik Quezada, Davina Pham and Jose Perez.  Despite some of the gingerbread houses falling down, the event and judging were a blast!  We saw some talented kids’ creations!
