Franklin Students Place at the FMEA Track Meet

On Saturday, October 21 st , students from all over FMSD came together at Sylvandale Middle School to compete in the annual FMEA Track Meet. The event is sponsored and hosted by the teachers who work in FMSD, who are in the FMEA teachers’ union. The teachers’ union also sponsors our annual Spelling Bees, Literacy Fairs, and spring Basketball Tournaments for students.
Quite a few Franklin students in grades 4, 5, and 6 were able to participate this year, and several of our Patriots “placed” in several different races. We want to congratulate all of our student “runners” for their participation and for trying their best! Good Job!
