I was born in Canada was and raised in California’s Central Valley. I attended San Diego State University where I majored in Liberal Studies with a specialization in music. After living in Southern CA for several years, I was hired at Franklin School in 2004. I have taught 5th and 6th grades. My husband and I met shortly after I arrived in San Jose, and we were married in 2009. We have 2 sons, ages 6 and 3 years.
