I was born in Malaysia, but have been living in San Jose for most of my life. This is my 20th year as a 2nd grade teacher in the Franklin McKinley School District. I grew up in this district and went to Santee, J.W. Fair (Bridges), and Yerba Buena High School. I continued my education at Santa Clara University where I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, and at SJSU, where I got my Master's Degree in Elementary Education.
In my spare time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, reading, watching movies, and hiking. In reality, I'm usually chasing after my two young sons.
