I was born in England (long time ago, lol.) My mother is Spanish from Almeria (Spain) and my dad is from Durham (England.) I grew up in England and later in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe.) I lived in Spain after my parents divorced and went to university there. I attended and graduated from Universidad de Granada as a specialist in English and modern Languages.

 

I came to the US 20 years ago and have been working as a first grade teacher for Franklin McKinley District ever since. I recently became an American citizen together with both my children; Cristie age 28 and Michael age 26. I believe we live in a very privileged place; beach, mountains, rivers, beautiful towns and cities all at our fingertips. I love the diversity of people that make our bay area the best place in the world. I feel at home.
