Jose Jacinto, Principal
Dear Franklin School School Community,
My name is Jose Jacinto and it continues to be an honor to introduce myself as the Principal of Franklin School. As a parent and educator, this is a significant responsibility and I am very excited to serve our community in this way. Our mission at Franklin School is to help our students become the very best they can be - citizens who will one day share their gifts with the global community. At Franklin, we share an attitude that reinforces the human connection. In our perspective, education is a process done with children rather than to them. Holistic student engagement is the key. We work to keep students engaged in their own education by guiding students to take responsibility for their own learning and actively participate during instructional time.
I began my career in Franklin-McKinley School District in 1998 as a Physical Education teacher at Sylvandale Middle School. I had the opportunity to provide students with a high quality physical education program for eight years before moving into administration as an Assistant Principal at Sylvandale Middle School in 2006. I worked one year at Sylvandale before moving to Fair Middle School, now Bridges Academy, in 2007. In 2010, I had the honor of becoming principal at Franklin School and have enjoyed serving our diverse community for the past eight years.
I enjoy hearing from the community and you are always welcome to e-mail me at:
Please feel free to come by and say hello to us in the office or call us at 408.283.6375 during regular school hours. Again, I am honored to be the principal of our outstanding school and look forward to working with all of you this year.
Mr. Jose Jacinto
