Hello 1st Graders!

 

I cannot wait to meet you and your family starting on Monday, August 17th. I have been waiting all summer to meet my B-2 friends. This will be such an exciting year for you and me. We have a lot to learn together.

 

I have been teaching for 21 years in California in grades TK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 5th grade. I have taught in San Diego, Mountain View, Los Gatos, Santa Clara, Milpitas, and now San Jose. My parents both graduated from San Jose State University so it is kind of special to me that Tully Road runs right into the campus.

 

I have two children in college. Emma is a senior at Chico State University and my son, Tripp, is a sophomore at West Valley College. We have a two year old rescue dog named Lily. We also have a guinea pig named Leia.

 

My favorite things are teaching, my family, meeting new people, children, pets, animals, walking my dog, reading books, cooking, flowers, and enjoying life.
